Is this game better than Explorers of Sky?

I've seen this game get compared specifically to Explorers of Sky, a lot, since Explorers of Sky is the "fan favorite" of the series. Additionally, a lot of fans found Gates to Infinity to be rather disappointing, since it didn't have nearly as much content as Explorers of Sky.
